Guidelines

ADMISSIONS:

  • Every candidate for admission must be introduced in person by one who will be responsible to the Principal for the child
  • New admissions are taken for Nursery, LKG, UKG. Class I to IX and XI according to the availability of seats and on the basis of the writing test and an interview. The merit of the student is the sole criterion of selection.
  • The ideal age for starting in Nursery is 3+. Only the parents are understanding of the type of education offered and their ability to co-operate with it.
  • Correct name and date of birth are to be given in the Admission Forms and this, once registered cannot be altered.
  • False declaration about a child’s age is disqualification for admission and subsequent discovery by the School authorities of such a false declaration would be grounds for dismissal.

Examination Pattern:

  • There are Two (2) Semester Exams held for 80 marks for Two Terms.
  • Before each term there will be one (1) Unit Test of 20 marks.
  • Class tests are also taken by the class/subject teachers with prior information.

Examination and Promotion:

  • Examinations of class I to XII are held as indicated in the School Diary and the students will not be allowed to sit for the Examination unless all the dues are cleared.
  • The School conducts no re-test/re-examination. There is no provision for reassessment or promotion on trial.
  • If a pupil fails to reach regularly the minimum marks of 40 for a pass in all subjects, he/she will be detained.
  • Marks and other remarks indicating promotion or failure duly signed by the Principal/Vice-Principal are to be considered final.
  • No separate examination will be held for a student who is absent in any examination. Daily performance of the students will be taken into account at the time of promotion to the next class.
  • No double promotion is granted.
  • Regular 75% of attendance is a must for promotion.

  • In all cases of promotion or failure the Principal’s decision is final. Parents should see that the report cards are collected in the dates communicated by the school and should be returned duly signed. They are also requested to examine the report cards carefully and see that their children make a special effort and study those subjects in which they are weak.
